DiabetesAmerica launches second San Antonio treatment center

DiabetesAmerica, a company that operates a network of diabetes care and management centers across the state, is opening a new San Antonio health center.

The new 3,500-square-foot health center will provide comprehensive diabetes care to patients in San Antonio, including medical treatment, education, nutrition counseling and weight management.

The new center will be located at 7863 Callaghan Road, Building 2, Suite 206, in Northwest San Antonio. It is slated to open April 3.

Dr. Jacqueline Pugh has been named chief physician at the new San Antonio center. Pugh is a University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio graduate and has been involved in diabetes care and research for 23 years.

This will be Houston-based DiabetesAmerica's second location in San Antonio.
